We’re thrilled to share that Isabelle Moses has been promoted to President of Brava Leaders!
For those who know Isabelle, this may feel less like a new beginning and more like a recognition of the leadership she has already been bringing to Brava for years.
Isabelle has helped shape so much of who we are: how we think about our programs, how we support our team, how we make decisions, and how we stay grounded in our values while navigating change. She brings deep thoughtfulness, steadiness, and care to the work, along with a sharp understanding of what it takes to build strong institutions and strong teams.
Her promotion comes at an important moment for Brava. Our work has always been about more than supporting individual leaders. We care about what it takes to build multiracial, multicultural institutions where power is shared and more people are able to shape the decisions that affect them. This means the way we lead Brava matters to the work, too.
As President, Isabelle will take on expanded leadership across Brava’s strategy, programs, operations, and organizational growth, working closely with founder and CEO Karla Monterroso as we shape the organization’s next chapter.
Karla shared: “Isabelle has already been leading Brava in so many ways. She understands the heart of this work, she knows what it takes to turn vision into something real, and she has been an essential partner in building this organization. I’m so excited to see her step into this role and for us to continue building Brava together.”
Isabelle adds: “I am thrilled to take on this expanded role within Brava Leaders. This role is the culmination of all of my past leadership experiences as a nonprofit executive, leadership coach, and organizational development strategist with multiracial teams and organizations. Partnering with Karla to truly model our beliefs and values in our company practices while partnering with clients to do the same is an incredible honor. We are co-creating the workplace of our dreams.”
